Acorn Street Beacon Hill
Boston Massachusetts
They call it "America's Most Photographed Street".
That wouldn't surprise me seeing that I've taken hundreds of pictures of that tiny little place that takes mere seconds to walk down!
Lit at night by only gas lamps, Acorn Street transports us back to the early days of America.
One of my most favorite landmarks in the city.
To find Acorn St. take either Chestnut or Mt. Vernon St. off of Charles St. Acorn is the third street up.
The images here were taken both during the day and at night.

"In the early 19th century, many well-to-do families built row houses between and on the sites of once spacious estates.
Servants and tradesmen, who found jobs within the wealthy houses, lived conveniently nearby, often, according to local folklore, on Acorn Street in these smaller versions of Chestnut Street houses." ~ Inscription
